The Henderson County Food Pantry is having difficulty buying Thanksgiving food stuff in bulk. Such items as dressing, cranberry sauce and gravy mix have not been available. First Baptist Church Athens surprised us with a HUGE donation of food items. The Youth under the direction of Youth Pastor Katie Mussat collected all this food and brought it to us this morning. Way to go young people. Thank you so much.
Saint John’s Lutheran church brought us multiple birthday bags and Thanksgiving items today. Our clients are so happy when we have birthday bags for their children. Thanks to the Lutheran church for making birthdays and Thanksgiving extra special for our clients.
